We are confident that you will find our new, enhanced benefit package will exceed your expectations Position Overview Full time; 36 hours per week; 7am - 7pm Our patient population in our 24-bed unit are patients needing intermediate level of care. We care for a mixed patient population, but our primary population requires BiPAP. We have four (4) designated ventilator beds, and Phillips wall mounted monitors in all rooms to monitor our telemetry patients. We can assist you with earning your PCCN Certification and/ or MedSurg Certification. ICU is our “sister” unit, and we share the same education team. As a Unit Coordinator, you will function in a charge nurse / staffing capacity role at times, but also have alternate tasks ranging from audits, staff schedules, patient experience, and committee work. There are many different specialties where you can perform and grow your nursing skills in areas of interest to you. We strive to create an environment of health and healing. Minimum Requirements Experience 18 months of nursing experience is required. Previous Charge Nurse experience strongly preferred. License and Certification Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing Basic Life Support (BLS) Education RN-Bachelor's Degree - required RN-Master's Degree - preferred Hospital Overview Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, VA, is a Magnet Status, general medical and surgical facility with 160 beds.
