Our technology is uniquely suited to increase the efficiency of complex manufacturing processes as well as advance engineering design capabilities. The Formulation Chemist with at least 5+ years of experience will be responsible for developing and optimizing photopolymer resins for digital light processing (DLP) 3D printing technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in polymer chemistry and photopolymerization processes, with specific experience in formulating resins for additive manufacturing applications.
Design, develop, and optimize novel photopolymer formulations for DLP 3D printing technologies.
Conduct experiments to evaluate and improve resin properties such as cure kinetics, and mechanical strength.
Analyze and characterize photopolymer materials using various analytical techniques (e.g., Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, material scientists, and product managers to align formulation development with market needs and manufacturing requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to resin performance and printability.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in photopolymer chemistry and 3D printing technologies.
Maintain detailed laboratory records and prepare technical reports on formulation development progress.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in the laboratory. Lead company safety culture in the role of Chemical Hygiene Officer.
Qualities/Skills
~ PhD or master’s degree in chemistry, Polymer Science, or a related field.
~5 years of experience in photopolymer formulation development, preferably for 3D printing applications, Paint formulations etc.
~ Strong understanding of photopolymerization mechanisms and resin chemistry.
~ Hands-on experience with SLA/DLP 3D printing technologies.
~ Proficiency in analytical techniques relevant to formulation development, polymer characterization and tying structure property to material quality.
~ PREFERRED QUALITIES/SKILLS
MS/PhD in Polymer Chemistry or related field.
Knowledge of material testing standards (e.g., Experience in scaling up formulations from lab to production.
Experience with Chemical Hygiene and Safety.
