Job Summary: The PCAS department is seeking a servo controls engineer for algorithm development and implementation in a variety of electromechanical assemblies. The individual will develop algorithms in Matlab/Simulink in conjunction with the Autopilot team. They will also interact with mechanical and electrical design engineers and vendors to optimize hardware capabilities. Lastly, plan to perform hands-on hardware and software verification testing in the lab. The position requires a solid understanding of classical and modern control theory, experience with Matlab/Simulink and the ability to work with electrical and mechanical hardware. Qualifications You Must Have: Education: B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math or related science degree Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
