Job Summary:

The PCAS department at Raytheon Technologies is seeking a skilled Senior Controls Engineer to develop algorithms for electromechanical assemblies. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of classical and modern control theory, experience with Matlab/Simulink, and the ability to work with electrical and mechanical hardware. The role involves developing algorithms in Matlab/Simulink, interacting with mechanical and electrical design engineers, and performing hands-on hardware and software verification testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop algorithms for electromechanical assemblies using Matlab/Simulink
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design engineers to optimize hardware capabilities
  • Perform hands-on hardware and software verification testing

Requirements:
  • B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, or related science degree
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
