Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineering team at Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the Control Actuation Systems (CAS) execution section. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical and programmatic oversight of assigned CAS development programs, driving development execution excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and programmatic oversight of assigned CAS development programs
  • Drive development execution excellence on CAS programs
  • Manage program budgets and schedules
  • Coordinate program staffing needs and reductions
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Manage program risks and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program management, supply chain, and quality
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on control actuation systems
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience with technical proposal development and cost estimation
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance
