# Information Technology
This position is responsible for the administration of LAN/WAN technology infrastructure hardware, including routers, switches, radios, VSATs, specialized infrastructure servers, network cabling, etc.
Employee will assist with management of data and voice communications including telecommunication circuits, VPN technologies, data radio, wireless, and satellite communication paths. Perform installation and maintenance of network infrastructure hardware and software
Monitor network and tune performance
Detect and respond to network outages
Recommend computing and networking standards for the company
Business travel and after-hour support may be required
Required to carry a company issued cell-phone and may be part of an on call rotation
Coordinate infrastructure related projects and teams
Project a professional image to internal/external customers and clients
Mentor junior team members
Possess thorough understanding of business processes, network protocols, and system architecture
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience in Network or related area
Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, including Cisco IP networking
Ability to provide high quality individual assistance to end-users at all levels/ability and ensure a good working relationship is maintained with end-users
Advanced degree or Professional Certification (CCNA, CCIE)
Major in business-related field
Knowledge of Linux, Microsoft Windows, PC hardware, and peripherals
