Position Overview
This role focuses on the administration, development, and support of ESRI GIS systems to improve operational efficiency, ensure compliance with regulations, enhance responsiveness, and maintain a competitive edge. The Analyst will collaborate with various business units, vendors, and developers to identify requirements, investigate new technologies, and optimize processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesCore duties include, but are not limited to:
- Facilitating the technological goals of the organization by designing, analyzing, developing, implementing, upgrading, testing, troubleshooting, administering, and supporting ESRI GIS systems.
- Collaborating with business units, vendors, and developers to convert business requirements into technological solutions.
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the applications being supported.
- Enhancing knowledge of Information Technology methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Utilizing analytical skills to devise a range of solutions for moderately complex challenges.
- Complying with departmental values, policies, procedures, methodologies, and security or confidentiality standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with ESRI GIS tools.
- Proficiency in database design and SQL querying.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Experience with ESRI APR (including branch versioning), UPDM data model, Utility Network, and ESRI Mobile solutions.
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages.
- Experience with Web Services (WCF, WebAPI, or REST).
- Project management experience is a plus.
