Overview
This role is responsible for the administration, development, and support of our ESRI GIS systems, aimed at improving operational efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, enhancing responsiveness, and maintaining a competitive edge. The position collaborates with various business units, vendors, and developers to identify requirements, investigate new technologies, and optimize processes.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Facilitates the technological goals of the organization by designing, analyzing, developing, implementing, upgrading, testing, troubleshooting, administering, and supporting our ESRI GIS systems.
- Collaborates with business units, vendors, and developers to convert business requirements into technological solutions.
- Gains a comprehensive understanding of the applications being supported.
- Enhances knowledge of Information Technology methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Utilizes analytical skills to devise a range of solutions for moderately complex challenges.
- Complies with departmental values, policies, procedures, methodologies, and security or confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with ESRI GIS tools.
- Familiarity with database design and SQL querying.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Experience with ESRI APR (including branch versioning), UPDM data model, Utility Network, and ESRI Mobile solutions.
- Proficiency in Programming or Scripting languages.
- Experience with Web Services (WCF, WebAPI, or REST).
- Project management experience is a plus.
Compensation details: 9 Yearly Salary
