Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Osage Beach, MOEnhance your medical career by stepping into an impactful role as an OB Hospitalist in Osage Beach, MO. Join a dedicated team and leverage your expertise to make a meaningful difference while enjoying competitive compensation and flexible scheduling.Required Skills:MD or DO medical degree with valid active medical license in Missouri Board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology Proven experience in obstetric care, including labor and delivery management Strong clinical skills, including OB triage, emergency gyn care, and deliveries Ability to handle a high volume of patient encounters (13+ per day) Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Meditech Expanse Excellent communication and decision-making skills Ability to work collaboratively with hospital-employed CNMs and APCs Nice to Have Skills:Prior experience in hospitalist or OB hospitalist roles Experience managing unassigned gynecological emergencies Familiarity with on-call and emergency medicine protocols Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Advance Life Support (ALS) Preferred Education and Experience:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution Minimum 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience preferred Active Missouri medical license or eligibility for licensure Other Requirements:Ability to start on 12/31/2025 Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including clinic and hospital coverage Travel reimbursements and licensure/certification expenses covered where applicable This is an outstanding opportunity to apply your specialized skills in a rewarding setting, enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $195.00, and enjoy comprehensive benefits.
