Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Osage Beach, MOJoin our dynamic healthcare team as a Locum Physician specializing in OB Hospitalist services and make a meaningful impact in a vibrant community. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide critical women s health care while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive compensation. You will be integral to managing OB triage, unassigned gynecological emergencies, and deliveries, supporting hospital-employed CNMs and APCs across a high-volume setting with approximately 13+ patient encounters per day.Required Skills: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active and unrestricted medical license in Missouri Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology Proven experience in obstetrics, gynecology, or hospitalist roles Ability to manage high patient volume efficiently Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills Proficiency with Meditech Expanse EMR system Ability to work 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM) and handle obstetric emergencies Nice to Have Skills: Experience with unassigned GYN emergencies and deliveries in a hospital setting Previous locum or temporary staffing experience BLS and ACLS certifications Knowledge of hospital workflows and multidisciplinary collaboration Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology or hospitalist medicine Prior experience working in a hospital setting with OB patients Other Requirements: Active medical license in Missouri Certification in BLS and ACLS preferred Ability to travel as needed for assignments Willingness to work 24-hour shifts on a scheduled basis This is an exceptional opportunity to make a difference while earning a competitive hourly rate of $195.00.
