Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Osage Beach, MO Join our dynamic team as an OB Hospitalist and make a meaningful impact on patient care in Osage Beach, MO. This unique opportunity is designed for dedicated physicians to provide essential obstetric services, including triage, gynecological emergencies, and deliveries, in a well-equipped hospital setting. You will oversee hospital-employed CNMs and APCs, ensuring seamless patient management and excellent outcomes. Embrace a flexible schedule with a 24-hour shift covering 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience while delivering high-quality care to women in the community.Required Skills MD or DO degree with valid medical license to practice in Missouri Proven experience in obstetrics and gynecology, including deliveries and emergency care Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle OB triage and unassigned gynecological emergencies Proficiency with Meditech Expanse EMR system Excellent communication and collaboration skills for team-based care Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Skills Experience working as a hospitalist or locum tenens in obstetrics Additional certifications such as NRP, ALSO, or ACOG Fellowships Knowledge of hospital protocols and interdisciplinary team coordination Preferred Education and Experience Medical degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years' experience in obstetrics and gynecology Prior locum or hospitalist experience is a plus Other Requirements Availability to start on 12/31/2025 Excellent standing with applicable state medical boards Willingness to cover clinic, call, and on-call shifts as required Willing to travel for assignments and hold applicable licensure and certification reimbursements Enhance your career and help shape the future of women's health by applying today.
