Senior SMB Customer Account Executive Senior SMB Customer Account Executive – Okta Job Overview Okta is The World’s Identity Company, delivering secure identity solutions across enterprises. The Senior SMB Customer Account Executive drives territory growth by securing new logos and cultivating relationships with our smaller business customers. Responsibilities Establish a vision and plan to guide long‑term approach to net new logo pipeline generation Consistently deliver revenue targets to support YoY territory growth Identify, develop and execute account strategies to generate pipeline, drive sales opportunities and deliver repeatable bookings Target and access appropriate leaders in prospect accounts, building a network of decision makers Scope, negotiate and close agreements to exceed revenue quota targets Harness Okta partners to open new, uncharted opportunities Build and nurture effective working partnerships within the Okta ecosystem (xDRs, Partners, Presales, Customer First, etc.) Use a strong value‑based sales approach, presenting a compelling point of view to each customer Travel as necessary to build and cultivate customer and prospect relationships Qualifications 2+ years of success in growing revenue for complex SaaS products Ability to evangelize, educate and create demand with C‑level decision makers Experience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders inside and outside the customer organization Proven success selling into C‑suite and building partnership and buy‑in with multiple stakeholders Significant experience selling in partnership with GSIs and the partner ecosystem Excellent communication and presentation skills for all audiences and technical aptitudes Confident, self‑driven, and team‑oriented with humility about success Expertise with a sales framework such as MEDDICC, Challenger or Sandler (Okta uses MEDDPICC) Compensation & Benefits On‑Target Earnings (OTE) for the San Francisco Bay Area: $136,000—$204,000 USD; for other U.S. locations: $136,000—$204,000 USD. Actual OTE includes base salary and incentive compensation. Okta offers equity (where applicable) and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, flexible spending accounts, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave).
