Accounting Manager

Job Overview We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for various financial tasks, including double-entry bookkeeping, budgeting, and technical accounting. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, possess excellent attention to detail, and be proficient in financial software to ensure accurate and efficient financial management. This is a contract to perm position. Duties Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payments, and collections. Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions. Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that financial records align with bank statements. Perform double-entry bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records. Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes to support financial planning. Apply technical accounting knowledge to ensure compliance with accounting standards. Support corporate accounting activities such as month-end close processes. Collaborate with management team members to optimize financial operations and reporting. Assist with Payroll processing Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvements. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support financial planning. Skills and Experience Proficiency in accounting software for financial data management. Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles. Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes. Knowledge of Year end business and payroll taxes Familiarity with financial software for data analysis and reporting. Ability to apply technical accounting concepts effectively. Prior experience in corporate accounting is beneficial. Must have knowledge and work experience of google suite, Microsoft office and tech savvy Bilingual is a plus Medical Clinics accounting experience is preferred.
