Overview The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves managing financial reporting, auditing, and internal controls. This role reports to the Corporate Controller. Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Supervise, train, and mentor the GL team, ensuring they meet performance goals and adhere to company policies and procedures. Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other tax‑related documentation. Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting department. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification preferred. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years management experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
