Job Title: Medical Claims Analyst

Pay: $18/hr


Location: Dallas, TX - WILL BE FULLY ON SITE

Hours: Monday Friday, 8am-5pm

Job Description: This position will obtain, validate, and maintain most current provider contact information necessary to process claims; and maintain privacy compliance.

  • Responsible for contacting providers by phone, fax or email to verify/update/correct all pertinent information required to request documentation.

  • Ensures contact information is validated by speaking to highest member of department (medical record or billing department)

  • Maintains and updates the provider contact database

  • Ensure provider contact information is accurate repetitively every 6 months; obtain updated lists from departments if applicable

  • Receive request and follow up on real time requests from analysts

  • Validate and correct duplicates and misspellings

  • Communicates with respective Lead/Supervisor or Manager on any issues or problems if needed.

  • Maintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of communications.

  • Punctual and consistent attendance required.

  • Maintains production standards and production requirements.

  • Assist coworkers, supervisor or management to accomplish product goals and reports any potential issues in a proactive manner.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Pleasant speaking voice with polished phone etiquette

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, production environment

  • Exceptional follow up skills

  • Highly organized

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-2 years of medical office or administrative experience

  • Call center experience is highly preferred

  • High attention to detail

  • Proven track record of excellent attendance

  • Production-driven experience is a plus

  • Soft sales experience is highly desirable
