About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Assistant to support our billing and claims department. The ideal candidate will have experience in data entry and administration, preferably in a healthcare or insurance environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accurate and timely data entry of medical billing information into our systems, reviewing and comprehending medical bills to ensure accuracy and completeness, and utilizing basic Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint skills to manage and organize claim-related documents and communications.
The Claims Assistant will also demonstrate critical thinking skills to analyze claims data and identify issues that require attention, maintain organization of electronic and physical claim files to facilitate easy retrieval and auditing, and collaborate effectively within a team environment while also excelling as an independent contributor.
