 Content Strategist
Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. We are currently sourcing for a Content Strategist to work in Boston, MA, Merrimack, NH, Smithfield, RI, or Westlake, TX.

The Role
As part of Fidelity’s Content Team, you will be a member of a customer-obsessed team that creates and delivers UX, thought leadership, and educational content. This role will support two key areas:

• The reusable content library, with a focus on driving forward the growth, adoption, and optimization of our micro-level content. You’re an evangelist for reusability and enjoy using new technologies to streamline content creation while enhancing the customer experience.

• Content practices, working to codify our best practices and provide clear guidance and resources that are easy to use by anyone. By establishing and maintaining content strategy standards, we deliver best-in-class customer experiences. It’s a fast-paced environment where strong collaboration with a wide variety of diverse partners is critical for success, and decisions are data-focused and iterative.


The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Solid strategy and writing chops (6-9 years or more in content strategy, technical writing, UX writing, or copywriting).
  • Experience writing within financial services is a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Adept at all aspects of content strategy, including content design, UX writing, information architecture, content audits, content modeling, priority guides, workflow, and governance.
  • Driving content strategies centered on reusable, micro-level content with a successful track record of implementing such strategies.
  • Designing, developing, and managing extensive content libraries, fluent in use of taxonomies, metadata, and editorial standards.
  • Working knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) and development tools - Tridion, Sites 9.5, Adobe Experience Manager a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile processes and tools, including epic and story writing skills.
  • Understanding of the legal, risk, and compliance (LRC) policies, process, and tools.
  • Creating and maintaining strong business relationships, building trust, and advocating for collaboration.
  • Fun, smart, creative, flexible, and loves working as part of a team.
  • Embraces ambiguity while prioritizing and determining how to move work forward.
  • Ability to learn from failure, engage in an iterative process, and understand that success comes sooner through trial and error.
