Just Ice Tea is seeking a Senior Director of Marketing to lead our team of empowered changemakers and help us scale the next great beverage brand.
This individual will report to the CEO and be an integral part of our executive leadership team and will be responsible for developing and implementing an integrated marketing campaign, including, overseeing the Field Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Public Relations, Social Media, Brand Management and Innovation. This role will oversee the day-to-day management of the Just Ice Tea brand to support our business goals across grocery, DSD distribution, food-service, c-store and other outlets.
The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter and strategic thinker comfortable hitting the ground running in a fast-growth culture and can adjust rapidly to the changing landscape of a start-up brand. A challenger mindset and tolerance for ambiguity and risk is a must.
Roles and Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for developing and executing an integrated marketing plan that increases awareness, engagement, and sales.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Just Ice Tea beverage line within our growth channels (marketing strategy, development, new product launches, shopper marketing, PR, social and D2C strategy, etc.)
- Manage Brand, Field Marketing and Social Media roles within the department, developing a team culture and instilling a supportive spirit of collaboration.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute retail/distribution growth strategies for Just Ice Tea.
- Lead the development of communication and creative assets in support of Just Ice Tea for retail, social, web, print, digital and field.
- Build and deepen relationships with internal team members and external partners, inspiring trust, transparency, and team development.
- Participate in weekly company calls, team meetings, cross-function project updates, quarterly board and annual shareholder meetings.
Skills and Experience
- Highly motivated individual focused on driving change and results within the food and beverage industry.
- 8-10+ years of significant experience at fast-growth CPG food and/or beverage enterprise.
- Experience within an entrepreneurial culture that scaled quickly and effectively.
- 3 – 5 years of supervisory experience with demonstrated emotional intelligence.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Strong communication skills, leading construction conversations and inviting dialogue is critical.
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn and grow.
- Passionate about our mission to empower consumers to choose (and enjoy) foods that align with their concerns around climate change and health, and feel energized make actual measurable change happen.
