The Role
Fidelity’s Social Media team is in search of a freelance Senior Art Director to support our flagship social handles, as well as Fidelity’s Women Talk Money Instagram community.
 
A curious, visual problem solver, you tap into trends, both cultural and financial, to generate likes, follows, and dialog. You are a collaborator whose passion for social media, both personally and professionally, is obvious and infectious. You understand the subtle differences in branding and tone when creating work for TikTok, Instagram, Linkedin, and everything in between. And you're not afraid of testing boundaries, pushing the work to craft novel, thumb-stopping work that engages followers and prospects.
 
Simply put – you will make things people enjoy. Things that make them think. And things that make them stop and share. Together with a team of people who all want to make cool stuff.
 
The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years designing social media executions and campaigns at an agency or in-house for major brands
  • BFA in Graphic Design, Advertising and/or a terrific portfolio
  • Experience designing for platforms including, but not limited to: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Pinterest
  • Exceptional Illustrator, Photoshop and Power Point skills
  • Experience in concepting social videos, stills, and animated executions
  • Curiosity about – and knowledge of – emerging cultural trends
  • An understanding of the diverse audiences on social, and the unique needs of those audiences
  • Confidence to present ideas (including the wild ones) to your peers and senior leaders
  • An ability to have fun while working hard in a fast paced, agile environment
 Portfolio required for consideration. Financial Services experience a plus but not required.
