About the Role (PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE ROLE: relocation assistance available)

Michael Todd Beauty is seeking a eCommerce Web Manager to lead the optimization and creation of user journeys on our website to maximize our digital marketing advertising ROI, in particular through the creation and optimization of landing pages and web experiences. This person must have a scrappy mindset, be comfortable with ambiguity, and have a boundless curiosity to learn and grow. The eCommerce Web Manager will report to the Director of Growth Marketing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth through creative thinking, compelling data-driven insights, on-site a/b testing methodology, and rapid execution
  • Lead a team through the ideation, creation, setup, and launch of innovative and personalized landing pages to optimize our buyer journey
  • Drive an ongoing roadmap of hypothesis-driven testing to drive conversion improvement using web analytics, channel performance data, and internal revenue data
  • Maximize efficiency in a fast growing company with a constantly evolving environment
  • Test and think outside the box with existing and new channels -- we invite innovative thinking
  • Conduct weekly and monthly reviews of KPIs and digital marketing initiatives. Report findings to the team with plans on where we go next.


Requirements

  • Skilled in optimizing landing pages and funnels using direct response principles: Proficient in maximizing conversions through A/B testing, persuasive copywriting, and data-driven design improvements.
  • PLUS: Development understanding: headless Next JS, Vercel, Builder.ioCMS, HTML, CSS
  • Understand best practices for UI and UX for websites, applications, mobile, and desktop
  • Hands-on experience using A/B testing tools
  • Copywriting
  • Proficiency in using Google Analytics, GTM, Tracking/Events
  • CVR stat analysis expert: Understand user intent and its pivotal role in the journey to conversion
  • Understand the importance of statistical significance when analyzing experiment results
  • Strong organizational skills and experience of balancing multiple projects at once
  • Self-motivated and driven with a willingness to learn and constantly expand knowledge and skills
  • Understanding of site structure with UI/UX knowledge, metadata/tagging, SEO
  • Photo sizing and optimization
  • Excited to work with a small interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective multi-tasker; you’re comfortable wearing many hats
  • Strong analytical approach to customer and revenue growth
  • You’re naturally analytical; you can synthesize complex information into concise, compelling recommendations
