Job Description:

As the Director of Sales (Admissions) & Business Development, you will be the driving force behind the global consumer reach of our certification and training programs. This role begins as an individual contributor with the potential to build and lead a sales team within 24 months.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and establish client relationships.
  • Conduct needs analysis meetings, growing B2B, and enhancing student retention.
  • Present our program offerings effectively to prospective clients over the phone.
  • Prospect and cold call to expand our global market presence.
  • Consistently follow up with potential clients to close sales.
  • Customize plans for clients based on their needs.
  • Design and implement strategic plans to meet sales targets.
  • Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
  • Draft detailed and accurate sales reports.
  • Assess costs, competition, and demand to identify selling prices.
  • Establish a sales training program for new employees.


Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, motivate, and advise a future sales team.
  • Set and adjust sales goals, compare performance to goals.
  • Develop business plans covering sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  • Improve current team processes and procedures.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members.
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment.
  • Track sales goals and report results as necessary.
  • Promote the organization and its programs.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales with a proven track record.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas.
  • Excellent leadership and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Past experience selling training, education, or certifications is a plus.
  • Experience in consultative, high-ticket sales is advantageous.
  • CRM software experience (Salesforce, Klavyio, Salesmate).
  • Experience in the law enforcement, intelligence, investigation, or criminal justice industry is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $80k
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $150-175k
  • Insurance: Company Paid Employee Health Insurance 100%
