We are seeking driven, entrepreneurial business development professionals to join our team.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Business Development (inside sales) professional located in Princeton Junction, NJ. The Sales Business Development professional will work on the complete plant sales team and be responsible for lead generation, follow up, and effective communication with clients and potential buyers to set meetings with senior salespeople to execute high value transactions ($1MM+). They will also utilize their analytical skills to identify opportunities and develop strategies to grow sales.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a love for communicating with potential customers (VP level and higher) by phone
  • Above average computer skills
  • True competitive spirit and ability not to take 'no' for an answer
  • Analytical ability to understand customer objections and learn how IPP can be flexible to meet those objections
  • Proven experience in lead generation and market research
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Experience or knowledge in the chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, or food processing industry is a plus but not a prerequisite
  • Higher education (Bachelors, Masters, etc.) is not required; grit and determination to succeed are weighted higher than formal education.
