Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Akana API Developer to join our team in Whippany, NJ, for a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension. As an Akana API Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-performance and reliable APIs using Java and the Akana API Management platform. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement high-performance and reliable APIs using Java and the Akana API Management platform.
  • Utilize the Akana API Management platform to create, deploy, and manage APIs effectively.
  • Configure and customize Akana API Gateway to meet specific project requirements.
  • Implement and adhere to security best practices in API development and management.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure APIs comply with organizational security policies.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of APIs to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Java Developer with a focus on Akana API Management.
  • Hands-on experience with the Akana API Management platform.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design principles.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and debugging API-related issues.
  • Experience with security best practices in API development.

Preferred Qualifications:
