What are we looking for in our Product Development Coordinator?

Product Development Coordinator
Contract: Sep - Nov 2024
PR: 30 - 34/hr
Hybrid (2-3 days in office)

Job Overview: The Product Development Coordinator is an individual contributor responsible for coordinating the development of prototype products within the product development team. This role involves monitoring the overall development process for a specific product line and acting as the primary liaison between vendor partners and internal teams, including design, production, technical, and merchandising. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, a team player, and ideally has experience with Centric PLM.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development of prototype products, ensuring alignment with design specifications.
  • Monitor the overall development process to ensure timelines and goals are met.
  • Serve as the point person for communication with vendor partners on development details.
  • Create and update seasonal composite sheets and classification charts.
  • Coordinate workflow and weekly updates to ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Track product development progress to ensure timely execution.
  • Communicate design development details to relevant teams.
  • Maintain and update costing charts and tools for merchants and planning references.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience.
  • 1-5 years of experience in product design or development, with a preference for candidates with Centric PLM experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
