Our client, a large telecommunications company in Atlanta, is looking for a Digital Copywriter/Content Strategist for an ongoing contract position. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and informative copy for various digital platforms, including homepages, landing pages, and product category pages. Your primary focus will be on creating content that captivates their audience, drives engagement, and ultimately converts visitors into customers. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with design and UX teams to ensure that your copy seamlessly integrates with visual elements, enhancing the overall user experience.


This is an ongoing 40-hour/week contract that requires 3-days/week onsite in Atlanta, GA.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop engaging and informative copy for homepages, landing pages, and product category pages.
  • Collaborate with design and UX teams to ensure that copy complements visual elements and enhances overall user experience.
  • Conduct research to understand target audience needs, preferences, and pain points, and incorporate insights into content strategy.
  • Optimize copy for search engines (SEO) to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to digital platforms.
  • Maintain brand voice and style guidelines across all digital channels.
  • Test and iterate copy to continually improve performance metrics, such as click-through rates and conversion rates.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital copywriting and content strategy.


Required Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience as a digital copywriter, with a portfolio demonstrating successful projects.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and content strategy principles and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices and tools.
  • Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Deadline-driven and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
