Looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Paralegal. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing e-discovery processes, proficiency in using Relativity, and extensive experience in supporting heavy litigation cases. This role requires a deep understanding of the complexities of construction litigation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage large volumes of documents and data efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the e-discovery process, including the identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, and production of electronically stored information (ESI) relevant to construction litigation cases.
  • Utilize Relativity for advanced data organization, document review, and preparation of evidence. Customize workflows, queries, and reports to enhance case analysis and support litigation strategies.
  • Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial, including drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and responses, as well as managing case files and evidence.
  • Conduct legal research related to construction law and draft legal documents, memos, and correspondence under the guidance of attorneys.
  • Participate in case strategy sessions, prepare deposition summaries, and assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness materials.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. Paralegal certification is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal in a litigation environment, with specific experience in construction litigation and e-discovery processes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Relativity and a solid understanding of e-discovery principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with construction law, including contracts, disputes, and regulatory compliance.
