General Description:

  • Understand how an operating room works to minimize disruption of the workflow
  • Provide navigation setup and support services to OR personnel during surgery in order to increase IGS (Image Guided Surgery) efficiency and usage
  • Troubleshoot and provide technical support to OR personnel
  • Act as onsite customer liaison, communicate with customer, assess satisfaction and usage levels, and work to increase revenue


Average Workday:

  • Coordinate daily caseload upon arrival at the facility to ensure proper coverage
  • Set up IGS equipment prior to surgery
  • Register patient using IGS equipment
  • Troubleshoot IGS equipment during surgery
  • Breakdown IGS equipment after surgery
  • Upload records of each case and any changes to daily caseload before leaving the facility
  • Medium duty work: Ability to move equipment around the facility


Job Requirements:

  • Reside near Southern Sacramento
  • B.A. or B.S. degree
  • Medical field experience preferred
  • IT systems experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments
  • Strong public speaking and communication skills are required
  • Enjoy interacting and participating in a team environment, can work autonomously
  • Must be able to work on weekends and after office hours
  • Basic understanding of Human Anatomy will be a plus point.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis
  • This role requires access to hospitals. Therefore you must maintain credentials at all required hospitals at all times. A complete vaccination record is required as an essential job function, including the COVID-19 vaccine.
