Administrative Assistant

Join our small and rapidly growing Integrative Medical Practice as an administrative assistant/office manager. This unique opportunity allows you to immerse yourself in the world of Integrative Medicine, honing your office management skills and growing with our practice. Our common goal is to provide excellent personalized care for our patients and expand our practice to serve a larger community in need.

Schedule: 20 hours per week

Could be a perfect opportunity for mother with school-aged children

Responsibilities include the following:

-Scheduling and managing patient appointments

-Obtaining consent forms and scanning and updating patient records

-Greeting patients and processing payments

-Answering phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, and directing calls to appropriate next steps

-Purchasing office supplies

-Maintaining inventory

-Ordering supplements for drop ship

-Maintaining and updating clinic website

-Developing marketing materials (print and digital)

-Adhering to HIPAA regulations

-Occasional errands (as needed)

-Assisting clients with questions regarding the patient portal

Attributes of candidates:

-Interested in all aspects of office management and growing a practice

-Care about patient’s well-being and maintaining an attitude of service

-Interested in Integrative/holistic/alternative medicine a plus but not necessary 

-Excellent communications skills

-Friendly and welcoming

-Organized and detail-oriented

-Good with time management

-Comfortable working with computer software and willingness to learn a new EMR and website builder

-Prior medical office experience preferred but not required

-Mostly, a passion and enthusiasm for the job
