As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will work with developers and product owners to understand the scope of new features, validate them to ensure the product meets our product and design requirements, automate the features to ensure efficiency and provide the scrum team transparency into the quality of features.
As a QA Lead , you will
Support the development and implementation of automated testing solutions to ensure efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
Conduct reviews of applications and workflow processes to target automation effectiveness
Spearhead initiatives that influences the team to build a quality-driven culture
Implement best practices for test automation, including continuous integration, test data management and regression testing.
Advanced working knowledge of test engineering processes and methodologies; Expertise in test planning, test case management, code coverage and defect management
Provide transparency of testing progress and drive the resolution of testing issues across the work streams
Work with the product and technology to define and assess integration testing readiness
Support project management with documentation and production of testing status and platform readiness assessments
Analyze requirements, designs and technical impact of new features/enhancements.
Follow up on defects, defect triage with the development team and perform necessary regression testing.
Update the team on test coverage and the quality of the features.
About Contractor:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
Experience: Proven experience in QA Lead role of minimum 3 years with a focus on testing EDI files in healthcare or related industry.
Technical Proficiency:
Hands on experience with EDI Tools, software and automation testing frameworks
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools and best practices
Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium or similar tools
Excellent programming skills in languages like Java, Python for test automation scripting
Experience with Github’s AI powered tool, CoPilot
Proficiency in PostgreSQL for database testing.
Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools is a plus
Healthcare Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) standards and experience with eligibility files.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
