What You Will Be Doing

As a QA Engineer at SnapMagic, you will take complete ownership of software quality and the entire testing process. Your responsibilities include both manual and automated testing. You will lead the development and execution of test plans and cases, engage in performance testing, and identify, log, and validate defects, bugs, and usability issues. Additionally, you will monitor key metrics to ensure platform reliability and collaborate with the software team to define and refine the continuous build and deployment process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases end to end.
  • Perform manual and automated testing, including performance testing.
  • Identify, log, and validate defects, bugs, and usability issues.
  • Monitor metrics to ensure platform reliability.
  • Collaborate with the software team on continuous build and deployment processes.
  • Maintain and enhance testing frameworks and methodologies.
About You

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in QA Testing.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Manual testing
    • Proficiency in various types of testing (functional, non-functional) and testing frameworks.
    • Strong SQL knowledge and experience.
    • Experience with API testing automation.
    • Expertise in the test life cycle, including planning, designing, case creation/maintenance, automation, execution, and reporting.
    • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent English communication skills, problem-solving ability, self-motivation, detail-oriented, ambitious, and proactive.

  • Previous experience in a remote or distributed team environment.
