We are seeking several Clinical Informatics Specialists both mid & senior level individuals to join our team. The Clinical Informatics Specialists will play a crucial role in optimizing the utilization of healthcare information technology systems to improve patient care, streamline workflows, and enhance clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clinical staff, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to assess, design, implement, and optimize clinical information systems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical workflows, electronic health records (EHR), clinical decision support systems, and other healthcare IT applications.
  • Analyze user needs and system requirements to develop customized solutions that meet clinical and operational objectives.
  • Provide training and support to clinical staff on the effective use of healthcare IT systems, including EHR documentation, order entry, and decision support tools.
  • Conduct workflow assessments and process redesign initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in healthcare delivery.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based practices and clinical guidelines into electronic systems.
  • Participate in system configuration, testing, and validation activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in clinical informatics and healthcare IT.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical informatics for mid level / 5 years of experience in clinical informatics for senior level role , healthcare IT, or a related role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems, clinical terminology, and healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Proficiency in analyzing clinical workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization, and implementing process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clinical and technical teams.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Certification in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (e.g., CPHIMS) preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, Meaningful Use, MACRA) and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS) preferred.
