The Process Engineer position is a mixture of hands-on, shop floor improvements with long-term capital project management. The Process Engineer will become a leader of their designated processes, equipment, and operational rhythms to best evaluate and implement advancements. The Process Engineer is responsible for assisting management with the analysis of production processes and procedures and improving equipment sustainment and reliability. The Process Engineer will be responsible for the evaluation of data leading to achieving targets with improved margins, adding efficiency, and removing waste.

What you will do:

  • Analyze safety, production, & maintenance processes to gain margin improvement.
  • Review OEM processes and make recommendations concerning requirements and standard work procedures.
  • Monitor production and quality control systems, or other operational reports to detect process problems and trends.
  • Mentor assigned personnel to promote efficiency and build leadership and team skills.
  • Recommend process improvements in the work area to gain efficiencies.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members and ensure miscommunications are minimized.
  • Coordinate with other senior staff members on personnel, safety, finance, and purchasing issues, looking for ways to increase and enhance all functional areas.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the General Mill Manger.

  • Ability to analyze data to recommend informed operational decisions.
  • Ability to understand and learn methods to gain efficiency and margin improvement.
  • Ability to understand how training can produce a gain efficiency and increase production levels.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Qualifications You Will Need:

  • BS in an engineering discipline from an accredited University.
  • Preferred degree in industrial and/ or mechanical engineer or related experience.
  • Three (3) years of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Eligible to legally work in the United States.
