Network and Systems Administrator

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our team and help us ensure seamless communication, efficient data flow, and optimal system performance across our diverse operational needs.
As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will:
- Design, Implement, and Maintain Network Infrastructure:
- Install and configure hardware components like servers, network switches, and patch panels.
- Ensure seamless integration of these components for optimal network performance.
- Manage network cabling and structured cabling solutions to support reliable connectivity and future scalability.
- Oversee power distribution units (PDUs) and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) to ensure continuous operation and prevent downtime.
- Administer Systems and Security:
- Maintain servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms supporting various manufacturing processes.
- Implement and manage Active Directory services, user accounts, and group policies.
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and security protocols to safeguard data integrity and protect against cyber threats.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to network and system security.
- Collaborate and Support:
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide technical solutions.
- Offer technical support and troubleshooting for network connectivity, system performance, and application issues.
- Document network configurations and system architecture to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 6+ years of experience.
- Proven experience in network engineering, systems administration, or a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, or MCSE are desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in network protocols and technologies (DNS, SMTP, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs) and equipment (Aruba, Cisco, HPE).
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, server administration, and virtualization platforms (VMware).
- Experience with security solutions, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and Microsoft Active Directory.
