Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality control for our products. This position is permanent, full-time, and offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of quality control processes, and a passion for excellence.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular quality inspections using a variety of inspection techniques to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards.
2. Utilize precision measurement tools to assess the quality of products and components.
3. Implement and maintain ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.
4. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure products are manufactured to exact specifications.
5. Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) to validate product design and manufacturing processes.
6. Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) in assessing product quality.
7. Perform Root Cause Analysis to identify and address quality issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
8. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
9. Prepare quality inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspection results.
10. Train and mentor junior quality inspectors and other manufacturing staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality inspection role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with inspection techniques, precision measurement, ISO 9001, blueprint reading, First Article Inspection, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and Root Cause Analysis.
3. Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address quality issues effectively.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor others.
6. Proficiency in using a variety of inspection tools and equipment.
7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
10. Relevant certification in quality inspection or quality management is a plus.
