Required:

  • 2-3 years experience working as a paralegal in a corporate company
  • Bachelors degree


Preferred:

  • Paralegal certificate
  • Experience working with or for an insurance company


Seeking a paralegal with a minimum of 2+years of experience to join it’sLegal team to provide paralegal services to our Reinsurance and Pension Risk Transfer attorneys with emphasis on corporate, contract, legal technology and transactional matters. Responsible for meeting deadlines and monitoring time-sensitive filings and matters.


The successful candidate will:


Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and business clients to perform routine assignments and projects, as directed.


Assist, as assigned, in preparing and maintaining corporate records and other essential legal documents while ensuring proper indexing and filing of various original legal documents; form or dissolve entities; coordinate annual and special meetings, act as secretary to ensure the accurate preparation and retention of meeting minutes for Global Atlantic


Assist, as assigned, in timely updating and maintaining various corporate governance resources for Global Atlantic entities.


Correspond directly with business clients and legal reviewers, as needed, to resolve inconsistencies in workflow and procedures, taking proactive steps and corrective action when necessary or appropriate.


Assist, as needed, in due diligence process in connection with Reinsurance and PRT transaction closings.
