Go-to-Market (GTM) M&A Integration Lead
Contract W2: Sep - Dec 2024
Pay Range: $85.00 - $92.00 per hour DOE
Location: Madison, WI

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive alignment on M&A Go-to-Market (GTM) plans for acquired companies, overseeing integration from announcement through 6-18 months post-acquisition.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the acquired company's post-close GTM strategy, objectives, and goals, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Identify and report on key indicators of sales performance and market opportunity for acquired companies, and use these insights to set strategic agendas.
  • Drive projects focused on Sales and Post-Sales integration, including business planning, market segmentation, pipeline analysis, coverage optimization, and performance measurement.
  • Build strong relationships and influence across a broad set of leadership and stakeholders (Sales, Customer Experience, Partners, Marketing, Engineering, Product, Corporate Development, Finance, IT, Compensation/Incentive Design) to facilitate collaboration between teams.
  • Create and execute the M&A GTM plan, working closely with Sales and Post-Sales operations subject matter experts.
  • Deliver business planning, market segmentation, pipeline analysis, coverage optimization, and ongoing performance measurement, presenting findings to executives.
  • Own the acquisition change and enablement plan, ensuring it meets the needs of the GTM team, acquired companies, customers, and partners.
  • Prepare and implement the post-close integration plan, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful launch and interim operations of acquired businesses.
  • Lead the design and development of interim period systems, data, and processes that support GTM strategy and execution.
  • Drive strategic alignment on a joint operating plan, ensuring the GTM strategy is effectively implemented.
  • Evaluate potential acquisition targets by leading post-term sheet detailed diligence, ensuring alignment on sales and post-sales projections for acquisition deals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in M&A integration, particularly in driving Go-to-Market strategies.
  • Strong understanding of Sales and Post-Sales operations, with the ability to develop and implement strategic GTM plans.
  • Experience in business planning, market segmentation, pipeline analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of leading complex cross-functional projects.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with experience working with senior leadership and a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to distill key priorities and influence cross-functionally to achieve business goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in change management and enablement, with a focus on successful integration and alignment of acquired businesses.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to executives and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Familiarity with evaluating acquisition targets and conducting detailed diligence, with a focus on sales and post-sales projections.
