Job Description: Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer

Location: Hybrid, Redmond office

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Administrator to oversee and optimize our IAM operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IAM technologies, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for automation and process improvement. This role involves managing day-to-day IAM tasks, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Daily IAM Operations:
  • Oversee the onboarding, offboarding, and access management processes for all employees, ensuring compliance with SLAs and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 15 IAM professionals, including remote team members based in India.
  • Automation and Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities for automation within IAM processes and implement solutions using tools like PowerShell and ServiceNow.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve IAM processes to reduce turnaround times and increase efficiency.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure all IAM activities comply with relevant regulations and security standards, such as HIPAA.

Incident Management:

  • Address and resolve IAM-related issues and incidents promptly.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor IAM performance and automation impact.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IAM operations, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies (AD, Azure AD, Office 365).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, and familiarity with ServiceNOW or similar automation tools.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing IAM teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of IAM-related regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing IAM projects and initiatives.
