POSITION DESCRIPTION

At H&D Distributors, our customer service team is the core of our company. We are looking for someone who truly wants to give our customers exceptional service.


H&D Distributors is a small (currently ~55 people) but rapidly growing company so all of our team members must be flexible and have an opportunity to participate in a variety of tasks. We depend on each one to help define the direction of the company. Hours for the position are 9:30am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday.


Responsibilities include order entry, technical problem solving, assisting customers with complex technical product selections, spot buying, helping identify and forge new supplier relationships, helping identify new product lines, and much more.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Detail oriented team player with great attitude and good communication skills. Mechanical aptitude and good basic math and computer skills. Priority consideration is given to candidates with some technical background and/or some inside sales or purchasing experience in an industrial environment.
