Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products and applications, collaborating with project teams, and contributing to continuous process improvements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, pilot, and implementation of the software quality assurance review process.
  • Provide feedback on process/procedure improvement opportunities.
  • Test software quality for production deployment and perform database queries as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams and follow direction from Team Lead.
  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures, both manual and automated.
  • Review and ensure compliance with approved procedures and standards.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of interim and final tasks.
  • Produce software quality reports and contribute to quality goals and objectives for the project.
  • Engage in end-to-end software testing cycle and proactively resolve issues.


Experience:

  • 7 to 9 years of software development, testing, and project management experience.


Required Skills:

  • 7 years of experience testing I.T. products and applications.
  • 7 years of experience testing applications both COTS products and in-house developed.
  • 7 years of experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures, both manual and automated.
  • 7 years of experience designing, developing test cases, and logging defects with minimal supervision.
  • 1 year of experience working on a project using AGILE methodologies.


Education:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
