These projects are typically staffed with three to six associates over a four to six-month timeframe. Your role is to help scope the project, lead and manage workstreams, develop your team, and partner with senior Fidelity business leaders to drive successful outcomes.

The Expertise You Have

  • You hold an MBA, or equivalent business, strategy, or analytical background.
  • The position requires significant management consulting, strategy, or similar experience with at least one year in the project manager role, preferably with a premier consulting firm or in a strategy group.
  • You have 7-10 years of work experience, including pre-MBA experience; consulting, strategy or financial services industry experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in the financial services industry, particularly in ES/CS functions.
  • You must have outstanding analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • You have both the flexibility and the skill to lead and contribute to teams.

  • Experience with project and team management, specifically including strategy development, evaluation of new products and services, and business transformation
  • Understanding and knowledge of corporate functions including Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Corporate Finance, Tax, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Real Estate, HR, and Legal
  • Understanding and knowledge of enterprise services including charitable giving, private markets, reinsurance, new business incubation, technology innovation, and corporate development

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
