Summary


The Account Sales Manager opportunity will support NPI and sustain OEM/JDM commodity business for Key Tier 1 customer account. Collaborate with cross-functional team members based in the US and Asia to develop the latest in consumer electronics.



Responsibilities


  • Develop relationships with key customers and generate leads for new opportunities.
  • Create and execute sales strategies based on customer’s supplier strategy, product roadmap, and competitor analyses.
  • Own RFQ/RFP response and the commercial relationship upon project award. Provide regular quotation updates and SOW completion.
  • Work with cross-functional teams within both customer and Internal teams, including sourcing, technical PM, and product design engineering teams.
  • Based upon day-to-day engagement with customers, act as a proactive liaison with our China-based factory personnels and operation team.
  • Provide regular project & account status updates to leadership team and drive timely completion of tasks and issue resolution.
  • Manage quarterly business review meetings with the customer.
  • Manage product transitions to minimize excess and obsolete materials.
  • Lead recovery plans and execution when supply falls short of demand.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience and/or 3 years of project management experience.
  • BA is required. MBA desired.
  • Prior experience in mechanical or electrical component business development.
  • Prior experience of working with Asia-based OEM/ODM manufacturers
  • Understands Product cost and ability to analyze clean sheets.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to lead multiple projects and prioritize when required.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills
  • Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred.
  • Availability to travel domestically or internationally when necessary.
  • The base pay range for this role is between $111,429.00 to $156,000.00 annually and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
