We’re looking for motivated, detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Officers with an active NMLS license to join our Direct-to-Consumer team. In this role, you’ll guide clients through the loan process, assess their financial needs, and present tailored loan solutions. This position is perfect for candidates with strong sales skills, a keen understanding of banking processes, and the ability to negotiate effectively for clients.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate Loan Applications: Assess financial information to determine eligibility and manage risk.
  • Engage with Leads: Reach out to prospective leads daily via phone, text, and email.
  • Client Assistance: Guide clients through loan applications and help gather necessary documents.
  • Credit Analysis: Review credit reports and financials for informed lending decisions.
  • Negotiate Terms: Secure client-friendly terms while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain detailed records in our loan processing system.
  • Collaborate for Closings: Work with escrow companies to ensure seamless, timely closings.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
  • Stay Industry-Savvy: Keep up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and FNMA guidelines.


Preferred Experience:


  • Background in Banking or Sales: Experience in banking, customer service, or sales is preferred; familiarity with loan origination is a plus.
  • Math Proficiency: Basic math skills to handle loan calculations.
  • Contract and Escrow Knowledge: Prior experience with contract negotiation or escrow is advantageous.
  • Strong Communication: Effective verbal and written communication for client and team interactions.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
