This insurance company was founded over 30 years ago and has serviced the New York transportation industry for over 20 years. They have 250+ employees. Their mission is to be a premier provider of the highest quality products and services for the livery transportation industry to all their partners. This is a remote location opportunity with some occasional travel to their headquarters in Long Island City, NY.


Summary:


The Director of Information Technology (DIT) is responsible for driving the development and realization of the company’s technology vision in alignment with business strategy. The DIT will ensure cyber regulation compliance, lead the implementation of technologies in support of that vision, and ensure timely regulatory data submission filings. This role is responsible for performance management, maintenance, and support of the enterprise IT infrastructure. The DIT is a champion of continuous improvement who persistently seeks opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the enterprise IT infrastructure, striving to position the company’s IT Infrastructure as a competitive advantage. The DIT will actively work with the top executive team to align tech strategy with that of the business leaders and will also ensure the various department leadership teams are equipped with the necessary information technology tools to fulfill their responsibilities.
