Field Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the top-notch execution of Halfday’s sampling plan in the SoCal market
  • Responsible for planning and executing all event support, demo campaigns, grassroots sampling and product seeding in SoCal
  • Proactively identify opportunities for Halfday in SoCal, focusing on key brand pillars
  • Maintain constant awareness of what’s on trend, while finding natural ways to integrate Halfday
  • Recruit, hire, train and manage part-time brand ambassadors with the support of the National Activation Manager, building a positive and collaborative work environment that thrives on having fun and focuses on hitting goals
  • Creation and maintenance of a SoCal activation calendar, responsible for scheduling brand ambassadors needed to execute against planned samplings and local initiatives
  • Provide regular reports and insights on sampling performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure field marketing efforts are integrated seamlessly and support company growth
  • Collaborate with retail partners to execute in-store marketing initiatives
  • Support national events & tradeshows as needed
  • Be the face of the brand within the SoCal region


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in field marketing and event management, preferably in the beverage industry
  • At least 1 year of management or team lead experience 
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Prior experience with company vehicles
  • High energy that is contagious to those around you
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency with managing a field marketing budget
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in an ever-changing sampling environment
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Travel is a requirement, at times by airplane and may include overnight stays
  • Ability to work nights and weekends with some occasional holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs at once, pertaining to product cases or event materials

THE TEAM

Co-founder and CEO, Kayvon Jahanbakhsh, was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis when he was a freshman in college. Losing over 80 pounds, he was forced to dramatically change his diet to focus on his gut health.


It’s that moment when Kayvon realized how difficult it was to find products that would help him on this journey that he could enjoy. That’s where the idea for Halfday prebiotic iced tea was born - with the purpose to make digestive wellness more delicious, fun and accessible.


Kayvon enlisted the help of classmate & best-friend Mike Lombardo to develop an iced tea that tasted nostalgic, but without all of the junk. Each can of Halfday has 8g of prebiotic fiber, with only 3g of sugar.
