Job Summary:

Our company is seeking an experienced and strategic IT Specialist to join our IT Department. This role is crucial in ensuring the alignment of the company's technology strategy with its business goals. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the IT Department, managing IT projects, and ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive IT initiatives that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IT policies and best practice guides for the organization.

Knowledge of infrastructure, network systems, data security, and software applications.

Lead IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.

Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.

Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness for the IT department.

Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems are in place and effectively protecting data.

Work closely with corporate office weekly for program alignment and efficiencies.

Liaise with other departments to understand their technology needs and implement IT solutions to meet those needs.

Stay up-to-date with advancements in IT and applicable laws and regulations.

Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure contracts are fulfilled and cost-efficient.

Manage security tools and technologies to protect the organization's networks, systems, and data.

Manage and maintain Microsoft network infrastructure, including Active Directory.

Maintain and administer the local Okta instance, ensuring seamless integration with Microsoft network infrastructure and overseeing user authentication, access control, and identity management processes.

Install, configure, test, maintain and upgrading as needed all hardware and equipment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field strongly preferred or with equivalent experience.

Proven experience as an IT Specialist.

Strong knowledge of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, and information security.

Experience leading and managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.

Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, data center management, and data governance.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects.


Schedule: Mon-Fri, with the ability to work as needed to support a business that operates 24/7

Compensation: $90K-$95K DOE

Job Type: Full-time
