Project Architect


This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Architect/Project Manager at Studio A. The position is based in Louisville, KY but offers flexibility for remote work.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in construction documents and construction administration. A qualified applicant will be leading a small team on a variety of projects.

Multi-family and Senior Care projects experience is preferred, but not required.


Responsibilities

  • Develop schematic designs
  • Communicate with the client’s representatives
  • Direct and coordinate production of construction documents
  • Work and coordinate with engineering consultants throughout all phases of the project
  • Lead project coordination meetings
  • Perform construction administration duties
  • Participate in marketing efforts including attending presentations to prospective clients
  • Mentor junior staff

Qualifications and Skills

  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam Studio and MS Teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems
  • Experience in Senior Care or Multi-Family projects preferred.
