We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Consulting Contract Attorney to join our dynamic team. This challenging yet rewarding position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-level legal advice and support to our clients. As a Consulting Contract Attorney, you will be responsible for drafting discovery requests and responses, reviewing and analyzing complex legal documents, and providing strategic advice on various legal matters. This position requires a deep understanding of legal principles and practices, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including service agreements, licensing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Provide advice and guidance on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate law, intellectual property law, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support decision-making and provide strategic advice.
- Draft discovery requests and responses, ensuring all documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Liaise with clients and other parties to gather information, clarify details, and resolve issues.
- Participate in legal proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitration.
- Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact the company and its clients.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal support.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Contract Attorney, preferably in a consulting role.
- Licensed to practice law in the state.
- Proven experience in drafting discovery requests and responses.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
