Summary

  • Maintenance Engineering employee focuses on planning, designing and implementing maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment including
  • Planning and coordinating maintenance engineering work including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications
  • Support the work with continuous improvements of maintenance and cost optimization of manufacturing.
  • Support in subcontractor issues
  • May establish standards and policies regarding pollution control, testing, operating procedures, inspection, and maintenance of equipment.
  • May research and recommend purchase of new equipment and systems.


Experience

  • Applies practical knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience (position typically requires 2 to 5 years relevant experience).
  • Experience with preventative maintenance plans for production equipment (electrical/mechanical/automation)
  • BS Engineering preferred but not required
  • AutoCAD or Solidworks experience preferred.
  • Works independently with general supervision.
  • May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
