The incumbent in this position assists the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Human Resources staff in providing high-level complex administrative support and carries out responsibilities to support one or more functional areas of the Human Resources Department. The individual conducts employment screening activities, including drug testing, and background screening and review and assists with determining eligibility for employment based on the results of the screening. The HR Coordinator assists the HR Director with special project requests and prepares and coordinates the collection, compilation, research and analysis of data. The incumbent serve as backup for various units. Work involves assignments that require some independence in making decisions and obtaining solutions while adhering to and/or operating within established policies, rules and guidelines.


Bachelor’s degree in human resources, finance, business management, business administration or a related field is required. A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a Human Resources Department or office setting is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience may be considered. Designation as FL Public Notary is required. Certified as Adjudicator Professional (APC) is required, or ability to obtain within six months in position is required. Incumbent must be able to work independently or within diverse groups. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages with strong proficiency in excel is required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
