Senior Marketing Manager

Overview:
AKIRA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead our customer acquisition efforts at AKIRA. This role is pivotal in driving growth by overseeing both paid and owned marketing channels, with a primary focus on attracting new customers and brand loyalists. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that effectively build the pipeline of new customers while maximizing retention and engagement of existing ones. The ideal candidate will have an assertive, action-oriented approach to setting and pushing ambitious growth goals.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to acquire new customers and drive growth in customer base
- Manage owned marketing channels such as SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and organic social media to increase brand visibility and attract prospects
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to develop compelling campaigns and marketing materials that resonate with our target audience
- Manage external agency relationships; provide overarching strategy and direction
- Analyze campaign performance and KPIs to optimize tactics and ensure efficient allocation of marketing budget
- Lead cross-functional efforts to align marketing strategies with sales objectives and overall company goals
- Stay on top of industry trends and best practices in digital marketing, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 6+ years in a senior marketing role with a focus on customer acquisition and pipeline growth, ideally within the fashion, eCommerce or retail space
- Strong understanding of paid and owned marketing channels, including hands-on experience with digital advertising platforms and analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that drive measurable results
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting to drive data-driven decisions
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends
